How can I balance Genshin Impact graphics and battery life on mobile?
#1
I’ve been playing a lot of Genshin Impact on my phone lately, but my battery drains so fast it’s almost unplayable during longer sessions. I’m wondering if anyone else has found a good balance between decent graphics and performance without their phone turning into a portable heater.

I play on Android and found that dropping the graphics to Low and locking at 30fps cut battery drain a lot, plus turning off shadows and anti-aliasing. The game still looks decent in most zones, and the phone stays cool enough to hold.

I also killed background apps and set brightness to a steady level; it helped the heat a bit, and I could finish a couple longer sessions without the phone getting crazy hot.

Part of me wonders if the real issue isn’t the frame rate at all but how warm the device runs. I tried short sessions and breaks, but it still warms up after 20 to 30 minutes, which kills the vibe.

Do you actually need 60fps or would 30fps be enough for you?
