How can i get the Street Triple front end planted in corners?

I’ve been trying to dial in the suspension on my street triple for a few months now, but I can’t seem to get the front end to feel planted when I’m pushing hard through a series of quick corners. I’ve played with the preload and rebound settings based on the manual, but it still feels like the forks are either packing down or topping out too fast.

I recognize that feeling. I chased the same thing last season on a Street Triple and the front would dive through quick corners and never feel planted, even after fiddling preload and rebound like the manual says.

I softened rebound once and it started packing down in fast sequences, so I backed off and still felt a little unsure on entry.

I swapped to a stickier front tire and that changed the bite a bit; it was less squirmy through quick transitions, though stability wasn't perfect.

Maybe it isn't just the fork. The bike's geometry and weight distribution can bite you in fast corners, and tires heat up differently in a real ride.

There was a day when heat cycling seemed to help, but on the next ride it disappeared and the vibe returned to vague.

I did a quick test after playing with preload and it didn’t fix the issue, so I dropped that line of thinking.

Do you think maybe we are chasing the wrong problem, like not the suspension but something else?
