How can i improve gyroscope sensitivity for recoil control in pubg mobile?

I’ve been trying to get better at using the gyroscope for recoil control in PUBG Mobile, but I just can’t seem to find a sensitivity setting that feels right. It either moves way too fast when I’m trying to track someone or it’s so slow I can’t follow a strafing enemy.

I spent a few evenings with it. I started with the gyro sensitivity around the middle and then nudged X a touch higher than Y. In training mode I could follow a moving target, but as soon as someone strafed quickly I’d overshoot or fall behind.

It either feels like a blur when I pan fast or like I’m dragging a brick when I try to track slow movements. I tried tiny increments for hours and nothing felt solid for more than a few seconds.

Do you think the problem is the gyro itself or the acceleration setting? I tried turning off smoothing and it still felt off when targets zigzag.

I wandered a bit and wondered if the device sensor was acting up or if the phone was throttling, but resetting the game and rebooting didn’t fix it. Still not sure if the real gap is practice or a stubborn setting.
