How can we improve team communication in ranked games?

I’m trying to figure out if my team’s communication is actually helping or if we’re just creating a lot of noise. We call out everything in our ranked matches, but it feels like half the time we’re just talking over each other and missing the actual plays.

I've been on teams that just keep talking in ranked. It feels like we're stacking noise and the actual plays slip by. Sometimes I realize I called out a dodge and then we never did it because two more things came up.

We did try a rule where only the captain or the person with the call says something, and we used a 15 second timer to finish a call before another one starts. It helped a bit, but we still had overlaps and we still forgot the plan midfight.

Are we sure the problem is noise, or is the real issue that we lack a clear call plan and ownership?

Sometimes I just mute the voice chat and focus on the scoreboard instead, which feels wrong but sometimes easier to play through. Then I come back to the group and it’s the same loop.
