How could migraine aura cause temporary blurred vision and flickers?

I’ve been getting these strange episodes where my vision in one eye goes blurry and sort of flickers for about twenty minutes, and then it just fades away. My doctor mentioned it could be related to a migraine aura, but I’ve never had a headache with it.

Sometimes I wonder if I overreading it. Maybe it not the big thing I fear. Still, the idea of something going on in the brain is unsettling, so I keep an eye on it and schedule follow-up tests just in case.
