How do i beat the Chrono-Garden optional room without triggering glitches?

I keep hitting a wall in this puzzle platformer where you rewind time to create clones of yourself. I solved the main mechanic, but there's a late-game optional room that seems to require a sequence I just can't figure out without it feeling like a glitch. Has anyone else gotten past the Chrono-Garden and knows if I'm missing a subtle interaction?

I hit that Chrono-Garden wall too. It wasn’t a matter of pure timing, it felt like the light beams and the clone actions were tied to a subtle interaction you only notice after you’ve already reset a few times. I swear one clone had to step onto a moving platform while the original rewound to a separate switch, then another clone had to chase the exit as the door opened.

Kid you not, I spent a whole session staring at the floor tiles, convinced there was a hidden switch. Turns out I was just misplacing a clone by a couple frames. Still not confident I did it cleanly.

I started to drift, tried to approach it like a rhythm game, then wandered into another room and came back with fresh eyes. The wall texture looked different when you rewind from a different position, so maybe it’s not a glitch but a space that changes with your position.

I might be wrong, but is it possible the puzzle is not the wall itself but whether you’re even counting clones correctly? Do you think the real problem is something else in the room beyond the obvious sequence?
