How do i break out of my feed's echo chamber and see more diverse content?

I’m starting to feel like my entire feed is just an echo chamber of my own opinions. Every platform I use seems to reinforce the same viewpoints, and I’m worried I’m missing out on understanding other perspectives. Has anyone else noticed this happening and found a way to gently nudge the algorithm to show you more diverse content?

I’ve felt that too. A few weeks ago I started paying attention to what I actually click on instead of what the algorithm assumes I want. I followed a couple of creators with opposite takes and started engaging with posts that challenged my stance. It barely changed at first, but after a couple days the feed drifted a bit.

I tried the 'not interested' option on topics I kept seeing but hated. It helped for a day or two and then the pattern snapped back. Maybe it learned from a bunch of recent interactions rather than the long tail, or maybe I was still scrolling the same group of friends.

I keep thinking maybe the issue is less the algorithm and more my own habit of chasing quick takes. There was a weekend I spent reading long threads from unfamiliar folks and it felt off, like I had to pause and recalibrate my judgments. Not sure it's a real fix.

Do you think the problem is the feed or us, like the time and attention we invest in it?
