How do i dodge boss attacks better in genshin impact without draining stamina?

I’ve been trying to get better at dodging boss attacks in Genshin Impact, but I keep getting clipped even when I think I’ve timed my dashes right. It feels like my stamina drains too fast to keep up with some of the longer attack patterns, especially in the later Spiral Abyss floors.

I was getting clipped all the time too. I finally started trusting my instincts and pulled the dash a beat earlier on the big telegraphed swings. It still feels risky, but calmer. When I do that, I have a tiny window to reposition instead of spamming dashes and burning stamina.

I tried swapping to a shield buddy for a few runs in Spiral Abyss, soaking the first hit so I could breathe between dodges. It bought me a couple extra dodges and my stamina didn’t vanish as fast.

Sometimes I think the problem isn’t the stamina so much as how I’m reading the pattern. Some bosses fake you out with a mid attack charge, and I end up late on a dodge I thought I had timed right.

Do you think the problem is the dodging itself or something else like your team comp?
