How do i find a ranked team that actually coordinates and improves together?

I’ve been trying to find a solid group for ranked play, but every time I join a clan’s discord it feels like I’m just another name on a roster. How do you actually find a team that wants to coordinate and improve together, instead of just filling slots for the next match?

I tried a tiny core group for a while. We picked three people who actually cared, booked a 90 minute practice every week, rotated who led, and after each scrim we wrote one thing to improve and one thing to avoid. It felt real and not just filling slots.

Joined a clan that advertised practice and review. It lasted two weeks before the chat devolved into memes and the schedule vanished. Then I stuck to a couple of friends and set up short scrims with a shared practice map, and at least we knew what we were working on.

Maybe the real bottleneck isn’t the team at all. It could be time zones, or you’re chasing a vibe that doesn’t exist at your level. Do you think the problem is the commitment or something else?

I keep thinking about it and I’m not sure I’ve found it yet. It’s frustrating because the idea of a squad that actually improves together sounds great, but the day to day isn’t yielding that.
