How do you feel about Rudy's growth and Eris moments in Mushoku Tensei?

I just finished watching the first season of *Mushoku Tensei* and I’m genuinely conflicted about Rudy. His magical growth and the world-building are fantastic, but his creepier moments with Eris make it really hard to root for him sometimes. Has anyone else felt this push-and-pull with a protagonist’s journey?

Yeah I felt that push and pull too. The growth is loud and satisfying, but those Eris moments still make me wince and rethink who I’m cheering for.

I try to focus on the progress and park the messy reactions. It’s wild how fast he gets power, even if I don’t always like the way he goes after it.
