How do you maintain a sustainable posting schedule without burning out?

I’ve been trying to build a consistent posting schedule, but I keep burning out after a few weeks. The pressure to constantly feed the algorithm with fresh content makes it feel impossible to maintain any creative spark. How do you find a sustainable pace without losing momentum?

I tried batching content on Sundays and kept a three-posts-a-week rhythm, but after a few weeks the energy just ran out. It felt like I was chasing the algorithm instead of a story I cared about, and the spark faded.

I did a 1 month trial where I allowed myself to skip days if I had nothing worth posting. The relief was real, but I worried about falling behind. Not sure if it hurt growth or just saved my sanity.

Maybe the real problem isn't cadence. Could it be the way we measure success and the pressure to be always on?

I kept a tiny routine: two hours a week to write, one hour to edit, and I turned off analytics for a week. The numbers stayed steady enough, and I felt a little less frantic.
