Should blurry vision after glaucoma drops be checked at my next appointment?
#1
I’ve noticed my vision gets slightly blurry for a few minutes after I put in my glaucoma drops in the evening. It’s not painful, just a mild fuzziness that clears up, but it makes reading before bed difficult. I’m wondering if this is a common reaction to the medication or something I should mention at my next appointment.

I’ve had something similar after I put in my eye drops at night. A fuzzy patch for a minute or two, then it clears and I can read again.

For me it lasted 5–10 minutes, not painful. I tried resting a bit, using a softer lamp, and waiting to read until the fuzziness faded.

Could this be the drops, or could something else be going on?

Sometimes I drifted into thinking about other stuff and the blur faded on its own after a few minutes; it felt like a small pause rather than a problem.

I started keeping a tiny log: time after application, how long the blur lasted, whether I had trouble reading. It helped me see patterns.

If it keeps happening or you notice other changes, tell the eye doctor at your next visit. With glaucoma drops I noticed brief blur after instilling, and I mentioned it at the next appointment.
