Should i replay the rpg to try the secret ending for a better payoff?

I just finished my first playthrough of the new RPG and I'm torn. I got the "Sacrifice for the Greater Good" ending, which the achievement list calls the canonical conclusion, but it honestly left me feeling hollow. I know there's a secret ending path that requires some very specific, almost hidden choices in the mid-game. Is it worth replaying 30+ hours just to see if that ending feels more satisfying, or does it just end up being a lore dump that doesn't change the emotional payoff much?

The canonical ending left me hollow, to be honest. I heard there is a secret path that hinges on mid-game choices, but I'm not sure hopping back in for 30 hours will land any differently.

I did a small test run; kept a mid-game save, tried three different branches, and played maybe 6-8 hours chasing the outcome. Endings felt similar, with tiny lore tweaks but no big shift in the emotional beat.

Is the real problem maybe the pacing in the latter half rather than the ending itself? I found the last dungeon and boss fight dragged on, and even if the ending changes a bit, the fatigue undercut the payoff.

I bounced off the idea of replaying, then wandered into other games, and came back to the sense that the story may be blunt about what ending means. I don't know if chasing another ending will scratch the itch.
