Should i try the city's new mobility app or keep my bus and bike routine?

I’m trying to figure out if I should start using my city’s new mobility-as-a-service app to plan all my trips, but I’m worried it might overcomplicate things. My current routine of just checking the bus schedule and maybe grabbing a bike feels simpler, even if it’s not perfectly efficient.

I tried the city app for a week. It often suggested routes with extra transfers, and I ended up dropping some trips because I didn’t need the extra leg.

I still mostly rely on the bus schedule and the bike, but I plugged the app into a couple of commutes. It did save a few minutes once or twice when the bus was late, but only if I started planning early.

Does this actually save time or is it just one more screen to check every morning?

I drifted into a tangent about carbon footprints for my rides, kept notes for a week, but forgot to open the app again. The simple bus and bike habit still feels calmer, even if it isn’t perfectly efficient.
