Should i worry about a resting heart rate in the 50s on a beta-blocker?

I’ve been on a low-dose beta-blocker for a few months for PVCs, and my resting heart rate has dropped into the low 50s. I feel fine, no dizziness or anything, but seeing that number on my fitness tracker every morning makes me a bit uneasy. Is it normal for it to settle this low when you’re on this kind of medication?

Yeah that happens I think When I started a beta blocker for PVCs my resting heart rate settled in the low fifties and I felt okay though it did worry me at first It felt like a sign I was slipping into something wrong but the doctor said bradycardia can be normal on these meds if you are not symptomatic and you should monitor but not panic

I asked my doctor about the same and they said it can be normal as long as you feel fine and you dont get lightheaded or short of breath If the number keeps dropping below 45 or you notice new symptoms give them a call

I wonder if the tracker is really accurate My device sometimes shows a low morning reading that doesnt match how I actually feel so I try not to panic based on one number

Could it be that the real issue is sleep and stress more than the number?
