What’s the best way to choose a warm color palette for a bakery logo?

I’m trying to design a logo for a local bakery and I’ve hit a wall with the color palette. I want it to feel warm and artisanal, but every combination I try either looks too generic or clashes in a way that feels unappetizing. How do you find that perfect balance where the colors feel both distinctive and harmonious?

I fiddled with a warm palette of honey, cream and espresso. In the window it felt welcoming and artisanal, but when I printed it on cards it looked muddy, and the room lighting made it behave differently.

I tried pairing burnt sienna with pale blue accents and thought it would be distinctive, but on shelves and menus it tended to clash with the wood tones.

I taped swatches on the shop counter and watched how they read in morning light. A mix around 60 percent warm neutral with a little accent seemed to stay legible and not shout.

Maybe the real issue isn't the color at all; maybe it's the logo shape or the paper stock or the lighting in the storefront. I keep circling back to that.
