What’s the best way to finally wake up at 5 am?

I’ve been trying to get up at 5 AM for weeks, but I just can’t seem to make it stick. The alarm goes off and my brain immediately starts negotiating for just thirty more minutes, and then the whole plan falls apart. I’m not sure if I’m missing a crucial step in my wind-down routine the night before, or if I’m just not cut out for this.

Maybe the problem isn’t the wake time at all. Could the real issue be the pressure in the morning or the way the evening routine leaves me anxious about tomorrow?
