What could cause a consistently weaker urine stream over months?

I’ve been noticing a weaker stream for a few months now, and it’s starting to worry me. It just doesn’t feel like it used to, and sometimes it takes a moment to really get going. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of change, and did you find it was just a normal part of getting older or something you needed to get checked?

Yeah, I went through something similar a couple years back. The stream felt weaker and it took longer to get going. I worried it meant aging. A clinician did a basic check, asked about meds, hydration, caffeine, and alcohol. Nothing urgent turned up, and they suggested watching it and maybe running a couple tests later if it stuck around.

I kept a tiny log for a month—start time, how long it took to finish, and what I drank that day. It wasn’t dramatic, but it helped me see patterns. Cutting back on coffee a bit seemed to help on some days, other days not so much.

It did help me not to freak out about it. Sometimes stress makes it feel worse. I tried to stay calm, kept fluids up, and tried not to overthink it.

Has anyone actually measured it, or is this more about how it feels day to day?
