What could cause coil whine under heavy gaming loads, gpu or cooler fans?

I’ve been trying to get my new build to run cooler, so I switched from the stock cooler to a dual-tower air cooler. Now I’m noticing a slight but persistent high-pitched whine coming from the case, but only under heavy gaming loads. I’m not sure if it’s coil whine from the GPU getting more airflow or something from the cooler’s fans themselves.
