What does the movie ending really mean, did she wake up or accept reality?

I just finished the movie and I’m still trying to figure out what the ending actually meant. Did the main character wake up from a simulation, or did she just finally accept her reality? I feel like I missed a crucial piece of dialogue that would have made it all click.

I took it as she woke up in a different layer, like a reboot, but I could be misreading—the final shot felt like a choice more than a reveal.

I went the other way and thought she just learns to live in her reality; the movie hints the dream isn't what matters as much as how she decides to move forward.

I feel like I missed a crucial dialogue line that would lock it in. My guess was a line about choosing truth over comfort, but I’m fuzzy on which scene that was.

Could the real issue be loneliness or guilt rather than the setup itself?

I watched it twice and paid attention to the pacing and the music; the score shifts at the boundary moments, which made me think something shifted but not exactly waking up.

I remember feeling unsettled after the ending and kept wondering if the film wanted me to doubt my own read instead of giving a clean answer.
