What happened to high tier crystals after the tundra patch rebalance?

I just downloaded the latest patch for the game, and I'm a bit confused about the new resource node spawns in the northern tundra zone. The patch notes mentioned a rebalance, but now I can't seem to find any of the high-tier crystals I need for the end-game crafting recipes. Has anyone else spent time exploring the updated area and noticed this?

I rolled through the northern tundra after the update and yeah, those high tier crystals are oddly scarce. I used to grab a few while farming for other mats, but this time I could barely scrape together a small handful in a couple of hours. It feels like the patch slowed the spawns, or maybe the drop tables got hit harder than I expected.

I was watching glowing nodes pop and vanish. They glow for a second and then disappear before I can target them. A buddy saw the same tonight in a different subzone. Feels like timing was changed more than location.

I wandered into a nearby quadrant that I rarely touched before and found a few crystalline nodes near what looked like a geothermal vent, which seems out of place for tundra. Maybe the pool shifted or the seed changed between regions, I can't tell if it's random or tied to something.

Do you think the end game recipes changed what counts as the right resource, or did they just move the crystals somewhere else entirely? I’m not sure if I’m chasing the wrong thing or if the spawn realities are just broken this patch.
