What helps with lack of deep sleep and daytime energy?
#1
I’ve been tracking my sleep stages and noticed I get almost no deep sleep, maybe ten minutes a night. I feel drained no matter how long I’m in bed, and I’m starting to wonder if this lack of restorative sleep is why my energy is so low all day. Has anyone else seen this pattern and figured out what actually helps?

I hear you. I chased that pattern for weeks. Deep sleep barely showed up, maybe ten minutes, and I felt wiped out even after seven hours in bed.

I tried changing my routine a bit. No screens an hour before bed, a lighter dinner, and a consistent wake time. The repairing part of sleep stayed sparse but I felt steadier once I stuck to it for several weeks.

I did talk to a clinician after a while and they suggested a sleep study but the process was a pain to arrange and I backed off for now.

Could it be that the real problem isn't the lack of restorative stages at all and something else is draining your energy like stress or air quality during the night?
