What is the best way to handle wonky car climate voice commands?

I just got a new car and the voice commands for the climate control are driving me nuts. I say "set temperature to 72 degrees" and it replies "adjusting driver's side seat warmer." Has anyone else found the voice recognition for these basic cabin functions to be completely hit or miss?

Yep. I say set temperature to 72 and it replies adjusting driver's side seat warmer. I ended up turning the knob or using the touchscreen. Voice control is unreliable.

I tried a few times and it kept grabbing the wrong thing like seats or fans. My read is the parser hears something else and tries the nearest action. Not confident but it feels like a mapping issue more than a misheard word.

I did a quick test and said make cabin 72. It sometimes works, mostly not. I gave up on voice for climate and used the app or the manual controls. It was easier and less frustrating.

Could the real problem be how I phrase it or is the mic just picking up cabin noise?
