What makes seagulls stealing fries videos so funny and wild?

I saw a video of a guy getting swarmed by seagulls for his fries at the beach, and it’s been stuck in my head for days. It was hilarious but also kind of horrifying, and now I keep noticing how many other videos are out there of people getting mobbed by animals over food.
