What RAM will I need to run the Project Nova port at launch?

I just saw the leaked specs for the upcoming Project Nova port, and they’re calling for way more RAM than my current rig has. I was really counting on playing this at launch, but now I’m worried my machine just won’t cut it, even on the lowest settings. Has anyone else had their heart set on a game only to hit a hardware wall like this?

Yeah I felt that punch in the gut last month. I was all in for a launch, but my rig only has 8 gigs and a midrange GPU. I pushed things to low at 1080p and still hit stutter and long load times in a couple of titles. It wasn’t a display issue so much as a memory crunch, and it killed the hype for a bit.

I tried turning off extras and lowering textures on another port, and it helped a little, but the frame drops kept coming during big scenes. It was enough to spoil the moment and make me rethink upgrading or waiting.

I’ve started to question if the problem is really the RAM or just bad optimization. A lot of people forget how background apps and OS tasks steal cycles. I once saw a sim game behave fine on a laptop until I opened Chrome and then it collapsed.

Project Nova has me weighing options, and the chatter makes it feel urgent. Do you think maybe the bottleneck is not the RAM but memory management or cache behavior, not the raw capacity?
