What should i think about paparazzi shots invading a celebrity's privacy?

I’m trying to figure out if I should feel weird about this, but I just saw a paparazzi shot of a famous actor walking their dog, and the photo is so close-up it feels like it was taken right in their driveway. It’s one thing on a red carpet, but this seems so invasive.

Yeah I felt it too. A driveway shot feels different from a red carpet, like someone crossed a line I didn’t realize was there. It makes me want to look away and skip the feed for a while.

I’m not sure there’s a clean answer. I’ve helped cover events and know the blur between public interest and intrusion is blurry. It left me unsettled even when the moment was technically newsworthy.

Is the real problem maybe our hunger for proximity to fame, or the idea that private moments must be public property?

I tried to joke about it with a friend, but the dog looked unsure and it didn’t land. It drifted for a bit about cameras and dogs, then back to how thin that window into someone’s life feels.
