Where do i test messaging to boost landing page signups?

I’ve been running a landing page for my B2B tool for about six weeks, and I’m only getting a handful of email signups. I’m not sure if my messaging is missing the mark or if the problem I’m solving just isn’t painful enough for people to hand over their contact info. How do you figure out whether to pivot the offer or just improve the page itself?

I’ve done this with a landing page for a B2B tool. Six weeks in and the signups were a trickle. I kept tweaking the hero and the CTA, trying to spell the payoff in everyday terms, but the curve barely moved. It started to feel like maybe the problem isn’t painful enough or we’re not speaking the buyer’s language on the page.

Did you try surveying visitors to learn what they’re hoping to solve?

We tracked what people did after landing and found the form was the big dropoff. I trimmed fields, swapped in a short social proof blurb, and the signup rate inched up a notch, but it still looked like a dead end rather than a slam dunk. Not sure what that means about the offer vs the page.

I remember drifting into thinking a different hook might work, like offering a free mini audit instead of a demo, and curiosity spiked briefly. Then I paused it because I wasn’t sure if that was solving the real problem or just making a quick splash.
