Why do I feel left out of online friend groups and their inside jokes?
#1
I’ve been noticing lately that my online friends seem to be forming stronger bonds with each other than with me, even though I was part of the original group. It feels like I’m being slowly phased out of inside jokes and side chats, and I’m not sure if it’s something I did or just how these digital social circles naturally evolve.

I get that. One day I’m laughing along, the next I’m watching others trade inside jokes I don’t hear anymore. It makes you wonder if you did something or if the group just drifted online.

I tried a concrete move: I dropped a message in the main chat, then pinged a friend to play something later. There was a tiny spark when someone actually replied, but the next day it went back to the same old rhythm and I felt a little more ghosted.

Could it be the real issue isn’t me at all but the group reshaping itself in a different direction?

Sometimes I scroll back through old threads and it feels like a memory reel I can’t quite grab. I miss the ease of the banter, and I’m not sure whether to push harder, pull back, or just wait and see what happens.
