Why do my search habits feel too specific and just confirm my hunches?

I keep noticing my searches have become weirdly specific lately, like I’m asking Google to confirm my own hunches instead of exploring something new. It feels like the results just circle back to what I already think I know. Has anyone else felt their own search habits narrowing like this?

Yeah, I’ve felt that too. It’s like my feed and my brain are doing a neat little dance and I’m just following the rhythm instead of wandering.

I noticed it in myself when I started typing and kept correcting to what I already think. Half the time I stop after the first couple results.

I tried a simple experiment: set a timer for 15 minutes, opened a random suggestion and followed it for a while. The results still curled back to my edge cases, not much new.

Maybe I’m chasing the wrong thing, or maybe I’m just tired of the noise—am I misreading what I actually care about?
