Why do my smart lights and thermostat automation scenes keep failing?
#1
I’ve been trying to get my smart lights and thermostat to work together automatically for morning routines, but the scenes keep failing half the time. I’m not sure if the issue is with my hub, the individual device integrations, or something else in my home automation setup.

I had a similar issue once. The hub looked fine, but a flaky device integration kept breaking the routine halfway through.

I added a simple delay between turning on the lights and when the thermostat kicked in, and that helped a bit.

Could it be overlapping schedules or a device that sometimes goes offline? I once had a device drop out and everything tripped up for a while.

I split the whole thing into separate rules and watched the logs, and it reduced confusion even if it didn't fix it completely.

Do you have logs showing which step fails – the lights, the thermostat, or the trigger?

I reset the hub and re-paired a couple of devices, but it still pops up randomly; maybe cloud latency or firmware quirks.
