Why do some Quest 3 VR games deliver a real workout and others don’t?

I just got a Quest 3 and I’m trying to figure out if there are any VR games that truly feel like a proper workout, beyond just waving my arms. I played something like Thrill of the Fight and was genuinely sore the next day, but I’m wondering if that level of full-body physical engagement is a fluke or if there are other titles that demand that much from you.

Yep there are a few that get your whole body moving. FitXR has boxing, cardio, and dance classes that make you sprint and do footwork, not just arm swings. I tried a 20 minute boxing class and my legs and core burned after; arms were sore too. It felt like a real workout.

I hopped into Supernatural for a couple weeks. It's guided cardio with a coach, you swing and squat and twist, and I kept dripping sweat. It didn’t always feel gym-like, but some days I was wiped after twenty minutes.

Beat Saber is fun, but after a few songs my shoulders get tired and I feel that push, not the chest and legs like Thrill of the Fight. It’s cardio for sure, but not the same intensity.

Sure, space matters. I tried OhShape a few times and found I could really get my hips moving if I had room for side steps. Do you have enough floor space for bigger moves or are you stuck in a tight room?
