Why does the game freeze when opening the map after patch on one character?

I just installed the new patch and now my game freezes for a solid two seconds every time I open the in-game map. It’s only happening on the specific character I’ve been playing this season, which makes me wonder if it’s something to do with my save file or a weird conflict with the latest update.

I had something similar after a patch. it only showed up on one save and the map would pause for a couple seconds every time I opened it. I switched to a different character and the freeze stopped, which made me think it was tied to that specific file.
