I just saw the list of nominees for the International Feature Film category and I’m genuinely surprised by one of the picks. I thought for sure a different film from that region would have made the shortlist, given its festival run.

Yeah I saw that list too, the International Feature Film category surprised me. I figured the regional festival buzz would push one of its titles in.

I checked festival wrap ups and press notes, and even watched a regional premiere online yesterday, and it still felt like the other film had more momentum.
