How can i balance steering sensitivity and brake pressure in a racing game?

I just got the new racing game and I'm really struggling to find a good balance between the steering sensitivity and the brake pressure. When I turn the sensitivity down enough to keep the car stable, I can't take corners tightly, but if I raise it, I oversteer every time. Has anyone else spent hours in the settings menu trying to dial this in?

Yep I spent days in the menus chasing a steady feel and never nailed it.

I tried 2 clicks less steering sensitivity and kept brake pressure mid and I ran a few laps to see if the turns held steadier.

Could the real issue be the grip or tires rather than the settings or is the car simply biased toward oversteer at high speed?

One time I wandered onto a different track by accident and it reminded me how much grip changes the feel more than the sliders do.
