I just dug out my old Sega Genesis and I’m trying to remember how we ever beat some of these games without save states. I’m stuck on the later stages of “Gunstar Heroes” and the sheer number of projectiles on screen is just overwhelming my middle-aged reflexes. I know the game is famous for its chaotic run-and-gun action, but I’m honestly wondering if I just had more patience as a kid or if I’m missing some fundamental technique.
