How can I build a stable Apex Legends ranked squad that sticks together?

I’ve been trying to find a good group for ranked Apex, but every squad I join seems to fall apart after one bad match. How do you build a team that actually sticks together and wants to improve, instead of just chasing a temporary win streak?

I joined a squad that lasted about a month. We set a couple of practice nights, tried to define roles, and kept it light. Then one bad game and two guys stopped replying. It felt more like a trust issue than tactics.

I tried nailing a core group first. We had a rotating roster, then someone would drop out after a rough night and the rest drifted apart. We did a few scrims and tracked wins, but the numbers didn't tell the real story and people lost motivation.

I did try a short term plan: pick a map, assign a role, review after every session. We kept notes, watched a replay together once, but nobody kept to the review habit and morale tanked after losses.

Could it be the problem isn't the team but how you pick people or what you expect from it? Maybe a core group with similar playstyle aligns easier, or maybe you're chasing a vibe that doesn't exist.
