How can i dial in Quest 3 comfort settings for VR locomotion without sickness?
#1
I just got a Quest 3 and I'm trying to figure out how to handle movement in games like Into the Radius without feeling sick. The smooth locomotion option makes my stomach turn after ten minutes, but teleporting everywhere breaks the immersion for me completely. Has anyone found a good middle ground or specific comfort settings that worked for them?

I ditched full smooth speed and kept it very slow, plus a light vignette that darkens the edges as I move. In Into the Radius on Quest 3 I can go 15–20 minutes without feeling sick.

Hybrid approach here: teleport most of the time, but when I need to scan a room I do a couple of short dash moves with a tiny cooldown. Keeps some immersion and avoids the constant nausea.

I still get woozy after a while even with those settings. Might be a tolerance thing or maybe the game pacing. I take longer breaks and stick to quick exploration rather than long runs.

Do you think the real issue is the game design, like the corridor length or camera motion, rather than the movement option itself?
