How can i finally wake up at 5:30 am consistently?

I’ve been trying to get up at 5:30 AM consistently, but I keep hitting the snooze button and then my whole morning feels rushed. I’m curious if anyone else has managed to make this early start feel less like a battle and more like a normal part of their day.

I used to wake up and feel like I was sprinting through the morning. I moved my alarm across the room and kept a simple outfit by the door, so I had to stand up. It stopped some of the snooze, but not all of it. If I drifted on the couch after turning it off, the morning felt ruined again.

The thing that helped a little was sticking to a wind down routine and cutting caffeine after noon. I tried a 10 pm lights-out for a couple weeks, then a shower and a boring snack before bed. Some days I still wake groggy, but the rush factor vanished on most mornings.

Is the real issue the 5:30 or is it sleep quality overall? I tried a strict 11 pm bedtime for a month and still had off days. I keep wondering if I’m chasing the wrong problem.

One morning I barely pressed snooze once, and it felt weirdly normal, like nothing dramatic happened. The next day I forgot to plan for that and slipped back. Progress was messy and slow, not a clean win.
