My four-year-old has started asking "why" about absolutely everything, from why the sky is blue to why he has to put on shoes. I know it's normal, but the constant stream of questions, especially when we're trying to get out the door, is really testing my patience. I find myself just saying "because I said so" more often than I'd like, and it doesn't feel great.
