How can I make a quick breakfast from scratch using whole foods?
#1
I've been trying to eat more whole foods and cut out processed stuff, but I keep hitting a wall with breakfast. My usual yogurt has a bunch of additives, and even my bread has ingredients I can't pronounce. I just don't know how to make a quick morning meal that's actually made from scratch.

Overnight oats changed my mornings. I use plain oats plus milk, a pinch of cinnamon, and whatever fruit I have. NoAdditives, and I just grab it from the fridge in the morning.

Eggs work for me when I keep a little chopped veg in the fridge. Quick scramble or a light steam-fry, and I’m out in ten minutes. It’s not fancy, but it’s real ingredients doing the work.

Maybe the real blocker isn’t the breakfast itself but the morning routine—do you have a small window to prep something simple?

I batch-cook porridge on Sundays and portion into cups. A minute in the microwave with a bit of fruit and a drizzle of honey and you’re done.

I once tried to bake a loaf from scratch and it felt like a science project; ended up keeping a loaf from a bakery with simple ingredients.

I’m still hoping for a miracle morning solution that’s actually simple and quick, but I haven’t found it yet; maybe I’m chasing the wrong thing.
