How can I make a quick, clean breakfast with whole foods?
#1
I’ve been trying to eat more whole foods and cut out processed stuff, but I keep hitting a wall with breakfast. My usual yogurt has a bunch of additives, and even my whole wheat bread has more ingredients than I’d like. How do you all manage a truly clean first meal without spending an hour cooking?

I started with overnight oats. I use rolled oats water or milk a splash of vanilla and berries. In the morning I grab it and go.

Another option is a fast egg dish. I mix eggs with a little cheese and spinach in a mug and microwave for a minute. It is ready in minutes.

Batch cooking helps me a lot. I bake egg cups with veggies and freeze them. In the morning I reheat one and add a piece of fruit.

Maybe the real problem is the morning rush not the food. I tried setting out bowls the night before and prepping a few simple toppings but I still feel pressed sometimes.

One tiny hack I use is to keep plain yogurt in a small jar with no additives and pair it with sliced fruit and nuts so I can assemble a clean bowl in under a minute.
