How can I make quick, filling breakfasts with whole foods?
#1
I’ve been trying to eat more whole foods and cut out processed stuff, but I keep hitting a wall with breakfast. My go-to used to be cereal or a protein bar, and now I’m just staring at the fridge every morning feeling stuck. I’m not sure how to make a morning meal that’s actually filling and doesn’t take forever to prepare.

I started doing overnight oats with milk or yogurt, a few berries, and a pinch of nuts. I set it in a jar the night before and in the morning I just grab it. It actually sticks with me until late morning and I don’t feel rushed.

I batch-cooked veggie egg muffins on Sunday, pop one in the microwave and I’m done in under a minute. Sometimes I still skip them and reach for a banana, but it’s better than a protein bar.

Could the real problem be not the breakfast itself but whether you’re actually hungry in the morning? If you’re not hungry, forcing a sit-down meal can feel like punishment.

I tried avocado toast with eggs once; it felt simple, but on busy mornings I still end up standing in front of the fridge with nothing convincing.
