How can i smooth trail braking into slow corners without unsettling the car?

I’ve been trying to get more consistent with my trail braking into slow corners, but I keep unsettling the car just as I turn in. I’m not sure if I’m releasing the pedal too abruptly or if my steering input is the issue.

I’ve been in that same spot. I try to trail brake into slow corners and the car unsettles right as I turn in. I think I’m releasing the pedal too abruptly, weight shifts too fast, and the back end twitches.

Personally I found a little more comfort by keeping a steady gentle brake pressure into the turn and easing off smoothly as I start the steering. It helped a shade, but it still feels like a constant readjustment.

Are you sure the issue is the brake release or could the timing of your steering input be the real bottleneck?

I once swapped tires between runs and it changed nothing noticeable, so I started chasing line and apex speed instead. The session ended leaving me thinking the problem might live elsewhere, not just the pedal.
