How can i stop bubbles when making resin coasters with dried flowers?
#1
The way we consume Hollywood news has changed so much with social media and instant updates. Traditional entertainment news today looks very different from what it was even five years ago. How do you think Hollywood celebrity news coverage has evolved? I'm interested in how these changes affect both the celebrities and the audience following their stories.

I’ve been trying to make a set of matching coasters using resin and some dried flowers, but I keep getting tiny bubbles trapped around the petals no matter how carefully I pour. I’m not sure if my resin is too thick, or if I should be treating the botanicals differently first.

I used resin last time and kept getting micro bubbles around the petals. I think it was a bit thick, and the petals trapped air as they settled.

Moisture from the flowers is a real culprit in my experience; I dried things longer and still saw little bubbles, so I’m not sure what’s next.

I wonder if the pour temperature matters; I poured into a cool mold and the bubbles showed up around delicate petals.

I tried warming the mix very lightly and poking at the bubbles with a toothpick, and some cleared but more formed later.

I skipped a step once and ended up with cloudy petals plus bubbles; maybe the key is letting the first layer cure a bit before adding blooms.

Could it be moisture in the petals?

I was thinking about the mold material for a moment, like maybe a tiny bit of dust got trapped, and then I remembered I once had better results when I changed molds and kept my workspace calmer.
