How can our clan start executing coordinated team pushes?
#1
I’m trying to get my clan to run more coordinated pushes in our matches, but it feels like herding cats. Everyone just wants to frag out individually, and our team composition is all over the place. How do you even start building that kind of disciplined play when you’re not a pro team?

I tried chasing coordinated plays by making a single call for when we go, but most folks still peeled off for their own targets. The turning point came when we kept it stupid simple: two anchors move in with a clear signal, others follow or hold mid. We had a 60 second window to execute, then we reset. It didn’t fix everything, but it beat the chaos.

Do you think the real problem is the fixation on fragging, or is the missing piece the lack of a shared goal and simple calls?

One night I tried assigning a role for each map phase and we clung to it for three games. It felt awkward at first, but we stopped switching roles mid-round and the team stopped melting into five separate duos.

Maybe we shouldn’t dump more drills into the practice room; one night we did a quick casual session and just talked through the map sense and callouts. It felt silly at first, but a few folks admitted they kept meaning to say things and forgot.
