How do I actually finish a book once I start it?
#1
I’ve been trying to get into reading more, but I just can’t seem to finish a book lately. I’ll get a few chapters in, then life gets busy or my focus drifts, and it just sits there on my nightstand. Does anyone else have this problem, and what do you do to actually get through a book once you start it?

I know the struggle. I started by aiming for ten pages before bed and kept a tiny bookmark so I could pick up quickly the next night.

I tried listening to an audiobook on my commute but the habit collapsed when the day got busy and the temptation to check my phone won.

Do you think the real problem is picking the wrong book for your mood maybe?

Sometimes I drift off and end up rereading the same paragraph, so I set a short timer and give myself permission to just keep going even if it feels slow.
