How do i break the streaming subscription cycle and cancel unused services?
#1
I’ve been trying to cut back on my streaming subscriptions to save a bit of money, but I keep finding myself resubscribing to one just to watch a single show, then forgetting to cancel it again. It feels like I’m paying for three services but only really using one at a time. Does anyone else get caught in this cycle?

Yeah I get this. I end up with three services, then I only watch one show and forget to cancel. I even set reminders for the day after the finale and somehow I still miss it.

I tried a simple trick last month. I kept one service for the show I wanted and turned everything else off after the finale. It bought me a month or two, then I found a new thing and slipped back in.

I have noticed the real challenge isn’t just paying the monthly fee. It is the friction adding new passwords chasing promos and keeping track of cancel dates. The habit sticks even when the math makes sense.

Do you think the problem is really a time management issue around watching not the subscriptions themselves?
