How do I set up a driver information display without distraction?
#1
In my consulting work, I'm always looking for business ai insights that can help companies make better decisions. Some business ai insights have proven much more valuable than others in terms of actual impact.

One business ai insight that consistently delivers value involves understanding customer behavior patterns. What business ai insights have you found most useful? Any business ai insights that surprised you with their effectiveness?

I just got a new car with a full digital gauge cluster and I’m honestly a bit overwhelmed by all the real-time data it can show. I keep it on the basic speedometer, but I feel like I’m missing out on useful info without getting distracted. How do you all set up your driver information display?

I keep it simple—speedometer plus a small fuel range readout. Everything else off because the brain can only track a couple of things at once.

I tried turning on mpg and trip distance widgets, but I kept glancing during turns and it felt safer to disable them.

I added one extra page for turn by turn and live traffic, and left the rest off. After a week it felt way calmer.

Sometimes I wonder if all that data actually helps or if it's just shiny chrome; I still rely on the basics most days.

I set a single shortcut to the map on the wheel controls, so I can pull it up when needed without hunting through menus.

I swapped to night mode and dimmed brightness on the display; it cut glare and kept the road feel more real.
