How do you beat the Untouchable achievement with smart level design?

I’m trying to get the “Untouchable” achievement in my survival run, but I keep getting hit by random environmental damage or a stray shot in chaotic fights. Has anyone managed to pull this off without just hiding in a corner the whole time? I’m wondering if there’s a specific approach to level design or enemy engagement that makes it more consistent.

Yeah I actually pulled it off once after a bunch of fails. I stopped chasing every skirmish and focused on space control: hug the walls, force fights into narrow lanes, and only engage when I could back out to cover. I kept a tiny mental checklist of safe angles and it clicked for long enough to survive the chaos. Untouchable, huh, there was a moment where the spacing finally felt right.

Most of my runs exploded in open rooms where bullets and explosions rain down from random spawns. I tried funneling enemies into tighter corridors with pillars and ducking behind cover, but it still felt like the map kept tossing a curveball. Level design helps, but it never guarantees a no hit run.

Maybe the real problem isn’t the projectiles but how the fights are staged. I kept telling myself I just need to not get hit, but sometimes the damage feels like a ticking clock you can’t dodge. I’m not sure if I’m chasing a ghost or if there’s a solid pattern I’m missing.

I kept thinking maybe I need a different build, but then I drift to fiddling with balance questions and it doesn't feel right. I did a few runs where I ignored some mid level enemies and tried clean routes, and still got clipped by things I didn’t see coming. Maybe I’ll shelve it for a bit and see if a new patch shakes things up.
