How do you make a morning routine actually stick?
#1
I’ve been trying to get into a morning routine for months, but I just can’t seem to stick with it past a week. I set my alarm early with the best intentions, but then I either hit snooze until I’m rushing or I waste the extra time scrolling. Has anyone else managed to make a consistent morning ritual actually work for them?

I did the same for months then the good intentions wore off. I kept a tiny ritual for three minutes after the alarm. I would sit up, drink a glass of water, and only then open the phone. The first week felt smart but then I slid back into old habits.

I tried a strict routine with a fixed wake time and a simple plan. It lasted a week and then I woke to chaos again. The alarm was loud but the moment after it felt like a trap. I kept stopping when the day got busy.

Maybe the problem is not the morning at all, but the night. Could that be the real blocker?

I swapped the alarm tone and cut the scroll for the first hour. I measured how long I stayed in bed after the first alarm and saw a bit more pep after a week. It was not perfect but mornings felt lighter and the to do list did not scare me as much.
